Exhibition Details

Weisler’s work was chosen for a solo show at the Ississ Gallery in Kyoto, Japan in the summer of 2008. Mr. Aikawa, the gallery owner, was very generous in his time and interest in the work and exhibited 29 photographs. His opening night reception included dinner which he catered and the response from the visitors that night was enthusiastic. The artist attended the opening and it was her first visit to Japan. The people, food and all the historic sites were wonderful. However, there is no street art, as such, in Japan so the artist did not take any photographs of street art there.
